The price is listed for reference, subject to material application on a flat surface that does not require repair. It also depends on the room area, concrete base condition, facility location, and other factors.

COATING STRUCTURE

1. Concrete base;
2. Primer: Hauptmann Grund/Hauptmann Epo 420 with quartz sand
3. Base coat: Hauptmann TOP 2K
4. Finishing coat: Hauptmann TOP 2K
5. Impregnation: Hauptmann Grund
6. Protective varnish: Hauptman Lack PU 2K

BASE

The base should be smooth, matte, load-bearing, durable and resistant to deformation, free of separating particles, dust, oils, grease, products of rubber wear, and other substances that prevent adhesion. Tensile strength of the base surface should be on average 1.5 N/mm2, compressive strength - not less than 20 N/mm2. Surfaces should have an equilibrium moisture content:

  • concrete, maximum 4% by weight
  • cement screed, maximum 4% by weight.
  • deviation from straightness not more than 2 mm per 2 rm.

* To increase the strength of screed top coat, grouting should be performed with floater, after using a concrete-finishing (troweling) machine for screeding.

Before application on ceramic coatings, old coatings, levelling substances indoors, materials should be tested for compatibility with each other, if necessary, apply a test coating.

BASE PREPARATION

Bases should be suitably prepared to meet all of the above requirements, e.g. by shot blasting or diamond grinding. Chips and damaged areas of the base should be repaired with Hauptmann Epo 420.

APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS

Priming:

Apply Hauptmann EPO 420 for subsequent peeling off over the concrete, without waiting for it to dry, sprinkle fine quartz sand for adhesion of microcement base coat. With a weak, porous base, the surface should be primed 2-3 times. Product consumption is 0.1-0.4 kg/m2 depending on the surface.

Base coat:

Spread Hauptmann TOP 2K with a paint scraper at an average rate of approx. 1.2 kg/m2. After drying, the coating is sanded and dedusted with a vacuum cleaner.

Finishing coat:

Hauptmann TOP 2K is applied in the same way as the base coat. When the finishing coat is applied, the final finish and texture are created.

Material consumption ≈0.6 kg/m2

*Material consumption varies depending on the texture being created.

Impregnation:

After 8-12 hours, sanding, dedusting, Hauptmann Grund coat is applied with a roller.

Varnishing:

After 4-24 hours, 2-3 coats of Hauptmann Lack Pu 2K special protective varnish are applied to the coating.

All the above technical data were obtained when testing the product under laboratory conditions (+20°C).
